Job summary

Shift is seeking a Credit Risk Manager in Sydney to lead escalated credit decisioning within the Small Business Division. You will own judgment-based decisions up to the $500K DLA, set at-the-margin standards, and drive policy evolution through data-driven insights and cross-functional collaboration.

In this role you will codify decisions, monitor escalation metrics, and partner with Technology and Operations to align processes with risk appetite. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of credit risk principles and portfolio management.
• Analytical abilities with data interpretation and Excel-based reporting.
• Experience with credit decisioning and escalation processes.
• Familiarity with PD metrics and risk frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Decision escalated scorecard referrals up to the delegated limit ($500K).
• Set and document credit standards for at-the-margin cases and codify decisions into policy.
• Measure and report monthly on service standards for escalated referrals.
• Lead transition of credit decisioning from Customer Solutions to SBD and standardise escalation pathways.
• Provide credit input into digital experience design and process improvements.
