The role anchors governance and continuous improvement, acting as an escalation point for complex decisions and partnering with lenders, vendors and bureaus to reduce bad debt and fraud losses.

Qualifikationen

• Significant expertise in credit risk assessment methodologies and fraud detection practices.
• Proven ability to lead in a medium to large corporate environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with ROI focus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to coach and influence others.

Aufgaben

• Ensure credit risk and fraud detection policies are applied accurately across Residential, Business and C&I portfolios.
• Act as escalation point for complex credit decisions and share guidance across the team.
• Partner with internal/external stakeholders, vendors and credit bureaus to manage priorities and resolve issues.
• Identify and drive process, policy and system improvements in credit risk and fraud practices.
• Contribute to programs addressing regulatory requirements and capability uplift.
• Utilise data analytics and technology to support improved credit decisioning and fraud risk outcomes.
