• Proven Accounts Receivable and/or Credit experience in a large-scale organisation.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

• Intermediate Excel skills and experience with large ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debtors.
• Conduct collections activity on overdue accounts.
• Follow up payments and maintain payment arrangements.
• Process customer payments and perform account reconciliations.
• Review and set up new accounts and perform credit checks.
• Build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Respond to account queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist broader finance team with ad hoc tasks.

Position Description

Reporting to the Shared Services Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of customer accounts and outstanding debtors
• Conducting collections activity across overdue accounts
• Following up outstanding payments and maintaining payment arrangements
• Processing customer payments and account reconciliations
• Reviewing and setting up new accounts and customers, including the completion of credit checks
• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
• Responding to account queries and resolving issues promptly
• Ad hoc tasks as required to assist the broader finance team

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will have proven Accounts Receivable and/or Credit experience within a large scale organisation, as well as the following attributes:

• Must have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to multi task with excellent time management and organisational skills
• Desire to hit the ground running with a proactive approach to your day to day tasks
• A positive can-do attitude with a passion for completing daily responsibilities to a high standard
• Intermediate excel skills and prior experience using large ERP systems
