Job summary

Norwest Recruitment partners with a major Australian agribusiness to hire an experienced Accounts Receivable/Credit Controller on a 3-month contract, with a view to permanency for high performers.

Youll own a large customer ledger, manage end-to-end AR and collections, and work closely with customers to resolve payment queries while keeping cash flow moving. Salesforce will be used to manage accounts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or Credit Control.
• FMCG industry experience is an advantage.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA is highly regarded.
• Salesforce experience preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of 500+ customer accounts.
• Perform end-to-end Accounts Receivable and collections activities.
• Maintain customer ledgers and proactively follow up overdue accounts.
• Liaise with customers via phone and email to resolve payment queries.
• Work within Salesforce to manage customer accounts and communications.
• Process customer credit card payments.
• Complete daily banking for allocated accounts.
• Follow up claims with warehouses and internal stakeholders.
• Release customer orders once payments have been received.
• Build strong relationships with both internal teams and external customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Credit Manager, you'll take ownership of a large customer ledger and play a key role in managing the end-to-end accounts receivable and collections function. This is suited to someone who enjoys working with customers, solving problems, and ensuring outstanding cash collection outcomes.

We're looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, has excellent attention to detail, and can confidently manage competing priorities.
You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable or Credit Control position
• Experience working within theFMCG industry is an advantage
• Exposure toSAP S/4HANA (highly regarded)
• Salesforce experience is preferred
• Strong Microsoft Excel and Word skills
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
• Strong organisational and time management skills
