Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a Credit Officer to join a busy North Sydney team. You will manage customer accounts, perform high-volume debt collection, and support month-end AR reporting while maintaining accurate master data.

The role offers hybrid work with 2 days WFH and a collaborative, supportive culture. Ideal candidates have SAP experience, can work autonomously within a larger team, and demonstrate strong ownership and communication skills.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts and maintain the AR ledger.
• Conduct high-volume debt collection via phone and email.
• Monitor aged debt and overdue accounts; follow up payments and reconcile payments.
• Resolve billing, invoice, and account queries; issue statements and assist with processing.
• Assist with credit assessments and credit limits; manage credit holds and release orders.
• Prepare aged debt, collections, and AR reporting for management; maintain master data and support month-end reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and procedures; build relationships with stakeholders to maximise cash collection.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements within Credit/AR.
