Job summary

Sharp and Carter is assisting a client in Sydney to recruit an Accounts Officer on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be predominantly accounts receivable initially, with eventual support for accounts payable, based at our client’s head office in the CBD with hybrid flexibility.

You will join a close-knit team and be responsible for processing cash receipts, managing the accounts inbox, and performing bank reconciliations, with opportunities to contribute across the finance function.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience across Accounts Payable and Receivable.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Friendly and positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Allocating payments and processing daily cash receipts
• Monitor and manage the accounts inbox
• Complete bank reconciliations
• Generate and distribute debtor aged trial balance and credit balance reports
• Assist with Accounts Payable including process supplier invoices, and employee expense claims
• Assisting with other ad-hoc accounts payable tasks
