Job summary

Mountain Heritage in Katoomba is seeking a Cook to join its kitchen brigade with world class facilities. Reporting to the Head Chef, you will help create memorable dining experiences with consistency in flavour and a variety of offerings.

New ownership aims to elevate the dining experience for hotel guests and the public. You will lead and energise the team, follow policies, maintain equipment and ensure high-quality meals while upholding WH&S standards.

Qualifications

• Food Handling Certificate.
• Tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead and influence a kitchen brigade.
• High level personal morale and appearance.
• Positive attitude and willingness to foster a cooperative working climate.
• Display the core values of Excellence, Respect, Integrity, Trust, Honesty and Pride.

We Are Looking For a Cook Who

• Food Handling Certificate.
• Tertiary qualification in Commercial Cookery and/or equivalent experience in a similar role with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
