Pho Caloundra Pty Ltd, Caloundra, QLD, is seeking an experienced full-time Cook to join our restaurant. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, prepare seafood and meat, and collaborate with front staff on daily specials.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications Cert III and IV in commercial cookery

We are looking for an experienced full time Cook to join our restaurant at Caloundra, QLD 4551

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with knowledge of operating diverse kitchen utensils and equipment and using modern cooking techniques.
• Communicate with front staff regarding daily specials/ chef specials.
• Manage all kitchen operations including food preparation such as measuring ingredients, marinate and portion seafood, meat, etc and cooking.
• Maintain a high standard of food hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in accordance with company standards.
• Inspect raw and cooked food items to guarantee the highest quality products are prepared and served to customers.
• Manage and maintain ordering of stock and produce and check quality pf goods while receiving deliveries.
• Implementation of health and safety procedures in the kitchen
• Collaborate with management to align kitchen operations with the overall goals of the company.

Job Requirements and necessary experience:

• -Trade qualifications Cert III and IV in commercial cookery or positive Trade Skill Assessment.
• - Minimum of one years ‘experience as cook within a fast-paced environment.
• -Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively with restaurant staff and management.
• -Detailed knowledge of health and safety standards
• -Excellent communication skills
