Job summary

BankVic seeks a proactive Relationship Manager to build and nurture member and partner relationships across Victoria and beyond. You will represent BankVic at partner sites and community events, driving conversations that create lending opportunities while delivering tailored financial guidance.

The role requires regular travel including interstate and regional travel, with some after-hours work. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to support campaigns, referrals and member engagement while

Qualifications

• Experience in banking, financial services or relationship management.
• Business-related qualification or equivalent experience.
• RG146 Tier 2 certification, or willingness to undertake the required training.
• Understanding of the financial services regulatory environment, including AFSL and ACL obligations and privacy requirements.
• Experience and confidence in public speaking and presenting to individuals and groups with different needs and levels of financial knowledge.
• Strong member and customer focus, with the ability to build trusted relationships.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to navigate challenging situations and work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Visit core partner sites, including hospitals and police stations, to deliver new recruit presentations and connect with new and existing members.
• Manage onsite visits and identify opportunities to connect members with relevant BankVic products and services.
• Support marketing campaigns, product launches and member engagement activities.
• Manage referrals and associated administration.
• Participate in community initiatives and support BankVic’s member charities.
