Job summary

Social Futures Ltd in Byron Bay is seeking a permanent part-time Centre Assistant to help deepen local access to community services. The role welcomes tenants and visitors, supports events, and assists with day-to-day operations.

You will work one day per week (Wednesday or Thursday) with ad hoc shifts, joining a supportive team and having opportunities for professional development, salary packaging and wellness benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer service role within a service organisation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with diverse communities.
• Ability to identify issues, prioritise and collaborate to achieve outcomes.
• Experience in event planning or studying Cert III in Events.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Connect with leaders in the non-profit and social impact sectors.
• Support community engagement, events and operations management.
• Develop programs, events and site activations to enhance tenant and community collaborations.
