Job summary

The Northern Rivers Social Development Council is seeking a community services coordinator for a permanent part-time role (1 day per week) at our Byron Bay centre. You will welcome tenants and visitors, support community programs, and help coordinate events and site activities.

You will work with a diverse community, use Microsoft Office and CRM systems, and join a supportive team focused on social impact. Availability on Wednesdays or Thursdays is preferred, with ad hoc shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within a service organisation.
• Ability to communicate with diverse community members.
• Experience in event planning or coordinating events desirable.
• Studying Cert III in Events or related area is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Welcome tenants and visitors and assist with their requirements.
• Support community engagement, advocacy, and site operations.
• Develop programs and events to enhance tenant and community collaboration.
• Coordinate events and activations to promote meaningful change.
