Hyatt Regency Sydney is seeking an enthusiastic Event Planning Executive to coordinate meetings, incentives, exhibitions, social events and weddings. You will manage client experiences from arrival to departure, ensuring smooth execution and accurate final accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in event planning or coordination in hospitality.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Professional presentation and grooming.

Responsibilities

• Handle enquiries with a high level of care and customer service for events up to 250 delegates.
• Convert catering enquiries into confirmed catering events and upsell where appropriate.
• Manage day-to-day administration of events, proposals, and final account settlements.
• Develop future business opportunities and repeat bookings.
• Attend internal and interdepartmental meetings as required.
• Collaborate with Sales, Events Service, Reservations, Engineering and Culinary teams.
• Prepare event materials and manage onsite logistics for small to medium events.
• Assist with post-event wrap-up: surveys, reporting, and financial reconciliation.
