Job summary

West-Wimmera-Health-Service in Nhill is seeking a Community Access Team Lead for a full-time role (80 hours/fortnight). You will lead administrative, intake and reception services to ensure fast, friendly access to Community Health programs.

Collaborating with clinical and operational teams, you will drive service excellence, workforce development and continuous improvement, creating a welcoming, professional experience for consumers from their first contact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business, Health administration related field.
• Leadership experience in a health or community services setting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Competent with computer software packages, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise tasks.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team.
• Knowledge of Australian Aged Care Quality Standards and Commonwealth Home Support Program guidelines and ability to put these into practice within the organisation.
• Post graduate qualifications in related health, business or human resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate administrative, intake and reception services to support access to Community Health programs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive and collaborative team culture.
• Ensure enquiries, referrals and appointments are managed accurately and timely.
• Drive high standards of customer service across all service access points.
• Monitor service workflows and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support reporting and compliance across designated program areas.
• Collaborate with clinical and operational teams for effective service delivery.
