Job summary

Randstad partnered with a respected Australian credit management leader in Hurstville to recruit a Collections & Customer Solutions Specialist. This full-time role offers Mon–Fri hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with no weekends or late nights and a competitive base salary plus super and uncapped monthly bonuses.

You’ll leverage strong communication skills to negotiate payment arrangements, support customers, and protect data integrity.

Qualifications

• No prior collections experience required; full paid training & ongoing career progression provided
• Strong communication skills and a customer-service mindset are essential
• Ability to handle sensitive financial conversations with empathy and professionalism

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing

Working on behalf of major Australian financial and credit institutions, you will handle sensitive financial conversations with empathy and professionalism:

• Customer Negotiation & Solutions: Engage with customers via inbound and outbound calls to understand their unique financial situations and negotiate realistic, manageable payment arrangements.
• Investigative Support: Utilise search tools and modern skip-tracing techniques to re-connect with customers and update records.
• Relationship & Trust Building: Overcome objections, de-escalate sensitive situations, and build trust through respectful, non-judgmental dialogue.
• Compliance & Data Integrity: Maintain clear, precise interaction notes while adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards.
