Randstad is partnering with a leading Australian credit management leader in Hurstville to recruit a Collections Officer. You will respond to customers with empathy, negotiate payment arrangements, and update records with precision.

This on-site role runs Mon-Fri, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with no weekends or late shifts and offers a robust training program and opportunities for career progression. Ideal candidates come from retail, hospitality, call centres or customer service, with strong communication

What You'll Be Doing

Working on behalf of major Australian financial and credit institutions, you will handle sensitive financial conversations with empathy and professionalism:

• Customer Negotiation & Solutions: Engage with customers via inbound and outbound calls to understand their unique financial situations and negotiate realistic, manageable payment arrangements.
• Investigative Support: Utilise search tools and modern skip-tracing techniques to re-connect with customers and update records.
• Relationship & Trust Building: Overcome objections, de-escalate sensitive situations, and build trust through respectful, non-judgmental dialogue.
• Compliance & Data Integrity: Maintain clear, precise interaction notes while adhering to industry regulations and compliance standards.
