Job summary

Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) is seeking a Configuration Management expert to ensure accurate CMDB data, lifecycle tracking, and governance across IT assets. You will work within CDS to implement ITIL-based processes and manage CI ownership with automation and service mapping.

The role focuses on maintaining asset registers, applying continuous improvement, and enabling audit readiness while collaborating with program leads across Digital Services.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Design, Service Transition and Service Asset and Configuration Management.
• Technical certification in Asset and Configuration Management preferred.
• Proficient with ServiceNow CMDB and asset registers.
• Experience with automated discovery and dynamic service mapping.

Responsibilities

• Embed and monitor operational processes for CI management and auditing.
• Develop and maintain tools for automation, discovery and service mapping.
• Report status of asset and configuration management deliverables.
• Assist planning and management of CIs and related information.
• Collaborate to implement solutions and coach CI owners.
