Job summary

AEMO is seeking a CMDB and Asset Configuration Specialist for its Customer & Digital Services team on a 14-month fixed term contract. You will ensure accurate configuration data, CI ownership and lifecycle across IT assets and services.

You will apply ITIL practices, leverage ServiceNow for asset registers, and use automation and discovery tools to improve visibility, audit readiness and change management. This role is based in multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Experience applying ITIL in asset and configuration management.
• Knowledge of CMDB data accuracy, ownership and lifecycle.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow asset registers and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Embed and monitor processes for configuration item management and auditing.
• Develop, configure and maintain tools for discovery and service mapping.
• Report status of CMDB deliverables and recommend corrective actions.
• Support planning and management of CIs and related information.
• Collaborate to implement solutions and coach CI owners.
