Job summary

AEMO is Australia's independent energy system and market operator, responsible for safe, reliable, and affordable energy today while enabling the energy transition. This 14-month fixed-term role sits in CDS, focusing on CMDB governance, asset management and IT service continuity across digital platforms.

You will implement discovery and service mapping, track CIs, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure audit readiness and change control effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Asset and Configuration Management.
• Technical certification in Asset and Configuration Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and CMDB management.
• Experience with automated discovery and dynamic service mapping.
• Experience in reporting and analysis across asset and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Embed and monitor operational processes for secure configuration item management.
• Develop, configure and maintain tools for identification, logging and maintenance of CMDB data.
• Produce status reports on asset and configuration management deliverables and propose corrective actions.
• Plan, capture and manage CIs and related information with accuracy.
• Collaborate to implement solutions and coach CI owners.
