Job summary

AEMO’s Customer and Digital Services unit is seeking an experienced Configuration Management professional to govern IT assets, including CMDB data, relationships and lifecycle status. You will work with program delivery leads across Digital to ensure accurate CI information and audit readiness.

This 14‑month fixed term contract requires Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a national security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Design, Service Transition).
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and CMDB management.
• Experience with automated discovery and dynamic service mapping.
• Experience in reporting and analysis across Asset and Configuration Management.

Responsibilities

• Embed and monitor operational processes for configuration item management and auditing.
• Develop, configure and maintain tools for identification, tracking and logging of CIs.
• Provide status updates on asset and configuration deliverables and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist planning and management of CIs and related information.
• Collaborate to implement solutions and coach CI owners.
