Job summary

AEMO’s Customer and Digital Services (CDS) team seeks a Configuration Management professional to safeguard asset and configuration data across IT services. You will manage CMDB records, CI data, and lifecycle status, ensuring audit readiness and reliable service decisions.

The role is a 14-month fixed-term contract based in Australia, requiring Australian citizenship and the ability to obtain a national security clearance. Flexible/hybrid work arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Service Design, Service Transition and Service Asset & Configuration Management.
• Technical certification in Asset & Configuration Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ServiceNow and CMDB management across lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Embed and monitor operational processes for secure configuration management of CIs.
• Develop, configure and maintain tools for discovery, service mapping, and CI tracking.
• Provide status reports on CMDB deliverables and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist planning, capturing and management of CIs and related information.
• Collaborate across Digital to implement solutions and mentor CI owners.
