Job summary

NEC Australia seeks an experienced Delivery Manager – Cloud & Compute to lead end-to-end delivery of managed technology services for enterprise and government customers. This senior role focuses on customer outcomes, service performance, governance and financial management.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT managed services or infrastructure leadership roles.
• Proven leadership across multidisciplinary teams delivering cloud, digital workplace and core infrastructure platforms.
• Strong customer relationship, stakeholder management and executive communication capability.
• Experience with transition, onboarding, governance, RACI development and operational acceptance.
• Working knowledge of cloud, digital workplace, identity, virtualization and core infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery outcomes across cloud, digital workplace and core infrastructure services.
• Ensure achievement of contractual SLAs, KPIs, security obligations and customer satisfaction targets.
• Act as the senior escalation point for operational, technical and service delivery issues.
• Lead technical managers, team leaders and multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple customers and platforms.
• Build trusted relationships with customer operational, technology and executive stakeholders.
• Oversee service transition, onboarding, operational acceptance and handover of new or changed platforms.
• Establish clear service ownership, RACI models, governance forums, delivery standards and operational controls.
• Drive platform modernisation, automation, standardisation and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Partner with architecture, security, networks, service management, projects, sales, presales and commercial teams.
• Manage service profitability, budgets, licensing, recharge, resource demand, utilisation and workforce planning.
• Oversee lifecycle activities including capacity, currency, patching, vulnerability remediation, upgrades, disaster recovery and vendor support.
• Identify, assess and manage delivery, operational, commercial, security and technology risks.
• Develop capability through recruitment, coaching, succession planning, performance management and role clarity.
• Support customer growth by identifying service improvements, additional capability needs and sustainable delivery opportunities.
• Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement.
