Job summary

NEC Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Delivery Lead - Cloud Compute in Melbourne to own a key enterprise account. You will lead a team of Cloud Compute professionals, drive agile delivery, and ensure service performance against SLAs while fostering strong customer partnerships.

You will work with stakeholders across the client and NEC teams to continuously improve capability, deliver value, and support growth opportunities within the account.

Qualifications

• Experience leading service delivery, technical operations, or managed services teams in an enterprise IT environment.
• Proven people leadership including coaching, performance management, and workforce planning.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery, sprint planning, and backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a Cloud Compute team to deliver high-quality services.
• Drive agile delivery practices including sprint planning, backlog management, prioritisation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and improve service delivery performance to meet SLA and KPI commitments.
• Manage team capacity, rostering, and resource allocation to meet demand.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders and lead governance meetings and service reviews.
• Analyse service data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and enhanced value delivery.

You’ll be the trusted link between our customer and technical teams, ensuring services are delivered seamlessly while continuously improving performance, team capability, and customer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Cloud Compute professionals, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
• Drive agile delivery practices, including sprint planning, backlog management, prioritisation, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Monitor and improve service delivery performance, ensuring SLA and KPI commitments are consistently achieved.
• Manage team capacity, workforce planning, rostering, and resource allocation to meet business and customer demand.
• Build trusted relationships with customer stakeholders, leading governance meetings, service reviews, and escalation management.
• Analyse operational and service data to identify trends, opportunities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to account growth by identifying opportunities to enhance services and deliver greater value for the customer.

About you

• Proven people leadership capability, including coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and employee development.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies, sprint planning, and backlog management.
