Job summary

Roc Consulting in Sydney is seeking a Client Services Representative to join our Banksmeadow-based operation. You will manage customer relationships across international air, sea and cross-trade shipments, coordinating movements and providing proactive updates to Sales and Operations teams.

The role blends customer relationship management, shipment coordination, reporting and operational support in a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.

Qualifications

• Experience within freight forwarding, logistics or supply chain environments.
• Strong understanding of import/export operations and shipment processes.
• Knowledge of air freight, sea freight and cross-trade shipments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capability.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills.
• Experience with CargoWise, OneTrack or similar systems highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with assigned customer accounts.
• Coordinate international air freight, sea freight and cross-trade shipments.
• Track and trace shipments, ensuring customers receive timely updates.
• Provide logistics solutions and freight recommendations based on customer requirements.
• Manage routing orders and purchase order tracking activities.

• Support onboarding and implementation of new customer accounts.
• Manage documentation follow-up, invoicing enquiries and rate requests.
• Escalate and resolve shipment issues before they impact customers.

The Company

A leading global freight forwarding and logistics provider is seeking a Client Services Representative to join its Sydney operation.

With a strong presence across international air freight, sea freight and cross-trade logistics, the business is recognised for delivering tailored supply chain solutions and exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clients.

The Position

Based in Banksmeadow, this role is responsible for managing customer relationships and ensuring the smooth coordination of international freight movements across air, sea and cross-trade shipments.

Acting as the primary point of contact for your customer portfolio, you will work closely with Sales, Account Managers and Operations teams to ensure a high level of service while providing proactive communication, shipment visibility and logistics support.

The role offers a mix of customer relationship management, shipment coordination, reporting and operational support within a fast-paced freight forwarding environment.

About You

You may currently be working as a Client Services Coordinator, Customer Service Representative, Import Operator, Export Operator or Freight Forwarding Coordinator and are looking for a role where you can build stronger customer relationships while developing your logistics career.
