Job summary

Ozcare is seeking Client Services Assistants to join our Noosa Heads facility on a casual basis. You will support residents by performing cleaning, laundry and hospitality tasks to ensure a safe, welcoming environment.

Role requires a caring approach with older people, ability to work flexibly including weekends and public holidays, and a commitment to high cleanliness standards. Training and EAP offered by Ozcare.

Qualifications

• Caring, friendly and compassionate approach to working with older people.
• Previous experience in cleaning, laundry services, hospitality or kitchen hand duties.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work weekends/public holidays when required.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning dining rooms, kitchen and food service areas following meal services and as required.
• Assisting with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and residents' clothing.
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment throughout the facility.
• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and high-traffic spaces.
• Following infection control, workplace health and safety, and aged care standards.
• Supporting a positive living experience for residents through respectful and compassionate service.

At Ozcare, our purpose is simple: supporting our clients to live their best lives. We are currently seeking caring, reliable and motivated Client Services Assistants to join our team on a casual basis at our beautiful residential aged care facility in Noosa Heads.

About the Role

As a Client Services Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for our residents. Working across hospitality, cleaning and laundry services, you will help ensure residents receive exceptional support and quality care every day.

Key responsibilities include:

• Cleaning dining rooms, kitchen and food service areas following meal services and as required
• Assisting with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding and distribution of linen and residents' clothing
• Maintaining a clean, hygienic and safe environment throughout the facility
• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas and high-traffic spaces
• Following infection control, workplace health and safety, and aged care standards
• Supporting a positive living experience for residents through respectful and compassionate service

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• A caring, friendly and compassionate approach to working with older people
• Previous experience in cleaning, laundry services, hospitality or kitchen hand duties
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute wherever needed
• Flexibility to work a varied roster, including weekends and public holidays when required
• Previous experience working in aged care, healthcare or community services (highly regarded)

Mandatory Requirements

• Current National Police Check (valid within the past 3 years)
• Evidence that you've been vaccinated for the latest Influenza virus (or willingness to get vaccinated)
• Evidence of at least one COVID-19 vaccination dose administered previously (or willingness to get vaccinated)
