Job summary

Ozcare Mackay is seeking Casual Care Assistants to join a first-class facility offering sweeping views of the Botanic Gardens. You will look after clients, supporting with personal care, medication assistance, and independence through personalised care plans.

We value a warm, caring nature, flexibility, and a positive attitude. You will be part of a supportive care team with access to training, uniforms, and employee assistance programs, and you’ll work a varied roster at our Mackay location.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care (or equivalent).
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates.
• Be vaccinated against Influenza and have at least 1 dose of Covid-19.
• National Police Check valid within the last 3 years.
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients.

Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence

• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
