Job summary

Ozcare is recruiting for Care Assistants at our Ayr Aged Care Facility. You will support clients with daily living, personal care, and medications, following personalised care plans within a supportive team environment.

The role focuses on promoting independence, compassionate care, and engaging with clients to enhance their quality of life while working a varied roster at our Ayr site.

Qualifications

• Be vaccinated against Influenza and at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine.
• National Police Screening Check (valid within last 3 years).
• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or Home & Community Care.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Good computer and mobile device skills.

Responsibilities

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans.
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence.
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities.
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements.

Ozcare has permanent part time opportunities available for Care Assistants supporting our clients at our beautiful Ayr Aged Care Facility.

Your Role

As a Care Assistant you'll be looking after the most important people in our organisation - our clients. Your tasks will include:

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care
