Job summary

Ozcare Port Douglas is seeking a Client Services Assistant at our aged care facility to provide high-quality support to clients across meals, cleanliness, laundry and general care tasks.

This permanent part-time role offers a hands-on environment with a focus on safety, hygiene and well-being, a supportive team culture, five weeks leave pro-rata, salary packaging options, and uniform and laundry allowances.

Qualifications

• Experience in domestic or commercial cleaning.
• Experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable.
• Previous experience assisting frail aged persons is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation as directed by the Cook.
• Keep Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas clean after meals.
• Perform laundry-related tasks.
• Assist with cleaning of the Facility with focus on WHS areas (toilets, floors).

Our Ozcare's Port Douglas Aged Care Facility is seeking a dedicated Client Services Assistant to join the team in permanent part-time role, providing high-quality support and care to our clients

Your Role

• Assist with the preparation of meals by performing tasks allocated by the Cook
• Efficiently clean Dining Room, Kitchen and serving areas after meals, or when required
• Perform tasks associated with the provision of laundry services
• Perform tasks associated with cleaning of the Facility with particular emphasis on areas where Workplace Health & Safety matters often arise toilets, floors etc.

Role Requirements

• Be vaccinated against Influenza & at least 1 dose of Covid-19 vaccine
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within the last 3 years)
• Demonstrated experience in domestic or commercial cleaning
• Demonstrated experience working in a kitchen environment is desirable
• Previous experience in assisting frail aged persons
