Job summary

Ozcare has permanent part-time opportunities available for Care Assistants supporting our clients within North Lakes and the surrounding region. You will provide the very best care in line with personalised care plans, assist clients to develop skills to encourage their independence, and attend to daily personal care tasks including dressing and other activities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability) required.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Current Queensland driver's licence and vehicle for client visits.
• Police Check valid within past 3 years.

Your Role

• Providing the very best care and support to clients in line with their personalised care plans
• Assisting clients to develop skills to encourage their independence
• Attending to clients' personal care needs, including showering, dressing and other daily activities
• Assisting clients with their medication requirements
• Working as part of the care team, using a holistic approach, to look at every aspect of our clients' care

How You'll Benefit

• $37.34 per hour + Superannuation + Access to Not-For-Profit Salary Packaging
• Reimbursement for kilometres driven ($1.14 per KM) and travel time between clients
• 5 weeks annual leave as standard + 14% annual leave loading
• Novated Leasing + Meals & Entertainment Card options accessible through Salary Packaging

Role Requirements

• In possession of a reliable roadworthy vehicle, with current registration and comprehensive insurance
• Vehicle must be safe, well-maintained, and suitably accessible to support clients with varying mobility needs to enter and exit comfortably.
• Proof of immunity, or willingness to become vaccinated against, Measles, Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Varicella (Chicken Pox) &Pertussis (Whooping Cough).
• Current Police Screening Certificate (valid within past 3 years)
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing / Disability)
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificates
• Current Queensland driver's licence
