Arcare is seeking dedicated cleaners to maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents at Noosa Shire facilities. You will contribute to a positive atmosphere with a focus on resident wellbeing and high standards of cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining clean, safe and hygienic environments.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including medical waste, following safety protocols.
• Infection Control: Follow infection control procedures and use PPE to prevent infections.
• Stocking Supplies: Ensure cleaning and hygiene supplies are stocked for residents and staff.
• Equipment: Use floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.

Your responsibilities involve maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for our residents.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

• Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
• Infection Control: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent the spread of infections.
• Stocking Supplies: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies (such as soaps, sanitizers, and cleaning agents) are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
• Equipment: Using floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.
