Job summary

Arcare Aged Care in Australia is seeking casual cleaners to join our North Lakes facility. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents, with flexibility and supportive leadership.

You will disinfect rooms, manage waste, handle PPE, restock supplies, and operate cleaning equipment. Applicants must have Australian Working Rights and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and Disinfecting: Regularly clean and disinfect resident rooms, common areas, bathrooms, and other areas throughout the facility.
• Waste Management: Dispose of waste, including both regular trash and medical waste, in accordance with proper guidelines and safety protocols.
• Infection Control: Follow strict infection control procedures, such as using appropriate cleaning agents and PPE to prevent the spread of infections.
• Stocking Supplies: Ensure that cleaning and hygiene supplies are adequately stocked and available for residents and staff.
• Equipment: Using floor scrubbers, vacuums, cleaning trolleys and consumables.
