Job summary

Arcare seeks a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide person-centred care to residents in our Townsville facility. You will work as part of a supportive team, delivering clinical care, wound management, care planning, and timely documentation using eCase.

Essential AHPRA registration and knowledge of aged care standards are required. The role offers a casual opportunity with above award rates, shift penalties where applicable, and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, vital signs, and medication management.
• Wound Management: Assess and treat wounds, prevent infection.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records using eCase.
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain with appropriate strategies.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to medical emergencies.
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, while adhering to Arcare’s values, policies, and professional clinical standards.

• Clinical Care: Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management

• Wound Management: Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents’ needs
• Assessment & Documentation: Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
• Pain Management: Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
• Emergency Response: Respond effectively to medical emergencies
• End-of-Life Care: Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
