Job summary

Arcare Aged Care on the Gold Coast is seeking a dedicated dining/kitchen assistant to support high‑quality meal delivery for residents. You will help prepare and plate meals, serve residents according to dietary needs, and maintain clean dining and kitchen areas.

You'll engage warmly with residents during mealtimes, contribute to a welcoming dining experience, and uphold hygiene standards. A Food Handler's Certificate is preferred, with training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Holds (or willing to obtain) a Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Reliable, adaptable, and eager to learn.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation, including basic food prep and plating.
• Serve meals in accordance with individual dietary requirements.
• Set up and maintain clean, organised dining areas.

About The Role

In this role, you will support the delivery of high-quality meals and create a welcoming dining experience for our residents. Your contribution will play an important role in enhancing residents’ comfort, nutrition, and overall wellbeing.
