NXG Group in Sydney is seeking a full-time Claims Officer to join our growing team. This client-focused, detail-oriented role manages insurance claims from lodgement through to settlement, ensuring timely processing and compliant handling.

You will collaborate with brokers, strata managers, insurers, and clients, provide clear communication, investigate claims, identify risks, and support process improvements while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in insurance claims management, preferably within Strata Property or Home insurance.
• Availability to work full-time each week, during standard business hours
• A positive attitude and a genuine willingness to learn and grow.
• A strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple claims and competing priorities effectively.
• Sound problem-solving and decision-making capability.
• High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality
• Ability to work independently and take initiative in solving problems and supporting others.

Responsabilités

• Manage insurance claims from initial lodgement through to final settlement, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
• Monitor and maintain the claims inbox, ensuring all enquiries, correspondence, and claim-related documentation are actioned promptly.
• Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication to claimants and stakeholders regarding claim progress, outcomes, and requirements.
• Review and analyse claims data to identify trends, potential risks, and indicators of fraudulent activity, escalating concerns where appropriate.
• Resolve customer complaints, disputes, and escalations professionally and within established service standards.
