Job summary

Sharp & Carter is seeking a Claims Consultant for a 6-month contract in North Sydney. The role involves handling travel, personal accident, motor, general insurance and workers compensation claims from lodgement to settlement.

You will work in a supportive team with onboarding support, training, and a buddy system, in a hybrid setup with 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.

Qualifications

• Travel Claims experience is essential.
• Personal Accident Claims and Motor Claims knowledge is required.
• General Insurance Claims and Workers Compensation experience are important.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of claims end-to-end.
• Assess claim documentation and determine claim outcomes.
• Liaise with customers, medical professionals, employers, and third-party stakeholders.
• Gather and review supporting information.
• Negotiate and process claim settlements within delegated authority limits.
• Maintain accurate claim records and notes.
• Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the claims lifecycle.

Are you an experienced Claims Consultant looking for your next opportunity within a supportive and well-established insurance team?

We're partnering with a leading organisation seeking Claims Consultants to join their growing team on an initial six-month contract basis.

These opportunities sit across both Travel & Accident Claims, offering the chance to develop your technical claims expertise while working within a collaborative and people-focused environment.

You'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of claims from lodgement through to settlement, providing exceptional service to customers while ensuring claims are assessed accurately and efficiently.

You'll work closely with experienced colleagues, receive structured training, and be supported by a dedicated buddy during onboarding.

Key Responsibilities
