Job summary

Sharp & Carter in Sydney is seeking a Claims Specialist to own a portfolio of around 100 General Insurance claims from lodgement to settlement. You will work directly with brokers and customers in a hands-on, collaborative environment.

You will investigate, interpret policy wording, assess coverage, negotiate settlements, and build relations with brokers and stakeholders. Training is provided; there is a path to broader movement within the business and a people-first culture.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with Underwriting and the wider business.

Claims Specialist| North Sydney | $90K–$100K + Super

Do you have General Insurance claims experience and ready for a role where you own the outcome?

You’ll manage a varied portfolio of around 100 claims, from straightforward matters through to complex losses, working directly with brokers and customers. You’ll take each claim from lodgement through to settlement, including recoveries, and build your own delegated authority as you prove yourself.

We’re open to candidates from a range of General Insurance claims backgrounds, and you’ll get the training and support to build your skills across property, motor and farm-related claims.
