Job summary

ITbility is seeking a Citrix L3 Engineer/Technical Lead in Sydney for a 6+ month contract. The role focuses on advanced Citrix support, platform stability, incident resolution, and governance. It spans Citrix, VDI, and Azure, with leadership responsibilities across L1–L3 teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
12+ years of experience supporting Citrix environments in a large enterprise setting.
Minimum 6+ years in an L3 Engineer or Technical Lead role.
Experience with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD).
Experience with Citrix Cloud / DaaS and NetScaler.
Experience with Microsoft Azure and FSLogix/EPM.
Strong ITIL-based incident and problem management experience.
Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Provide L3 support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler, and related infrastructure.
Lead Major Incidents and Priority 1/2 resolutions.
Mentor L1/L2 teams and drive governance and service improvements.
Improve platform stability and user experience through formal initiatives.
Lead platform uplift projects and technical governance reviews.
Support vulnerability remediation and patching compliance.
Develop and maintain operational docs and standards.
Collaborate with project teams for new solutions’ readiness.
Automate routine tasks using PowerShell and tools.
