Axiom Technologies in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a senior Infrastructure Engineer to coordinate activities from simple tasks to complex plans within our desktop computing environment. You will provide onsite/on-call support to end-users to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.

• 10+ years of experience in network, storage and data-centre infrastructure.
• 7+ years of Wintel engineering/architecture experience.
• 6+ years with Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop and XenServer design, migration and troubleshooting.
• 2+ years with Citrix NetScaler/ADC HA and load balancing.
• Minimum 2 years each with VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Strong Windows Server, TCP/IP, OSI model, routing and switching knowledge.
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM, PowerShell and converged infrastructure.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues across all seven OSI layers.
• Strong customer communication, technical consulting, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor system health, performance and availability; implement improvements to reliability and efficiency.
• Develop technical documentation, operational procedures and support processes.
• Collaborate with customers, application owners and infrastructure teams.
• Support 24×7 operations and participate in after-hours support when required.
• Identify opportunities for solution expansion, upselling and cross-selling.

We are looking for a capable resource to coordinate activities ranging from simple tasks to more complex plans. This role will provide onsite/ on-call assistance to end-users within the organization’s desktop computing environment in a timely and accurate fashion to ensure optimal service delivery.
