Job summary

Ayan Infotech Pty is seeking an experienced Citrix L3 Engineer for an initial 6+ month contract in Sydney. The role focuses on advanced Citrix, VDI, and Azure platform stability, major incident resolution, and governance, with BAU support and uplift initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in Citrix environments, 6+ years in L3/leadership, and strong mentoring, ITIL, and PowerShell skills. On-site Australia rights required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or equivalent.
• 12+ years of experience supporting Citrix environments in a large enterprise.
• Minimum 6+ years in an L3 Engineer or Technical Lead role.
• Experience with CVAD, Citrix Cloud/DaaS, NetScaler, Azure, FSLogix/EPM, and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix Cloud, NetScaler, and associated infrastructure.
• Lead technical resolution of Major Incidents, Priority 1 and Priority 2 incidents.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to L1 and L2 support teams.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve platform stability and user experience.
• Lead technical governance reviews, service improvement plans, and platform uplift activities.
• Support vulnerability remediation, patching compliance, and security initiatives.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, knowledge articles, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful delivery and operational readiness of new solutions.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks using PowerShell and other tooling.

Ayan Infotech has an immediate and urgent requirement for a Citrix L3 Engineer for a long term contract in Sydney.

Required Skills and Experience:

The Citrix L3 Engineer is responsible for providing advanced technical support, operational leadership, and engineering expertise for the Citrix environment. The role focuses on platform stability, problem management, major incident resolution, service improvement through strong technical ownership and governance. The position will support both BAU operations and strategic platform uplift initiatives across Citrix, VDI and Azure.

Role Responsibilities

• 12+ years of experience supporting Citrix environments in a large enterprise setting.
• Minimum 6+ years of experience in an L3 Engineer or Technical Lead role.
• Strong experience with:
  • Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD)
  • Citrix Cloud / DaaS
  • Citrix NetScaler ADC/Gateway
  • Microsoft Azure
  • FSLogix/EPM
  • PowerShell Scripting
• Experience managing Major Incidents and Problem Records within an ITIL framework.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Preferred Certifications

• Citrix Certified Professional (CCP-V)
• Citrix Certified Expert (CCE-V)
• Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• ITIL Foundation / ITIL 4 Certification
