Job summary

InterContinental Hotels & Resorts – Coogee NSW is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the Shutters Restaurant kitchen team. You will prepare signature dishes for the restaurant, pool bar and in-room dining, with a focus on presentation and high hygiene standards in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You should have 2+ years in a commercial kitchen, a Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts qualification, and be available for a 7-day rotating roster.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts.
• Available to work a 7-day rotating roster (lunch/dinner).
• Good reading, writing and basic maths.
• Valid unrestricted visa to work in Australia (sponsorship not available).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce high-quality food, according to standard recipes.
• Support front of house colleagues and kitchen team to deliver guest satisfaction.
• Receive goods deliveries and maintain invoices for accounting.
• Follow HACCP, WHS and food safety standards.
• Lead with attention to detail and strong time management.
