Job summary

COAST AND CLOVER BISTRO in South West Rocks NSW is seeking experienced Chef de Partie and Cook applicants to join our kitchen team. The successful candidates will prepare, cook and present quality dishes, support daily kitchen operations and uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Applicants should have relevant commercial cookery qualifications and strong cooking skills to thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment with opportunities for training and development.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Kitchen Management or higher is required.
• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Passionate about cooking and delivering high-quality food.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season and cook a variety of dishes according to menu and business standards.
• Inspect ingredients and food products to ensure quality and freshness.
• Monitor the quality of dishes throughout preparation, cooking and presentation.
• Regulate and monitor temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment.
• Portion meals and arrange dishes with appropriate sauces, garnishes and accompaniments.
• Assist with planning menus and estimating food requirements based on customer demand.
