Job summary

Surfboat Brewery and Café in Sydney is seeking a talented Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team, delivering dishes for breakfast to dinner and at functions. You will work closely with the Head Chef to uphold top‑tier food standards and support kitchen operations.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years CDP experience, a Certificate III in Commercial Cookery, a valid Food Safety certificate, excellent time management and attention to detail, and a calm, pressurized approach.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience as a CDP in a reputable commercial kitchen.
• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Valid Food Safety certificate.
• Strong time management and attention to detail; calm under pressure.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality dishes following recipes, plating, and presentation standards
• Take ownership of your assigned kitchen section, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and correct stock rotation
• Follow Processes and systems to maintain standards of consistency and Food Safety
• Adhere strictly to HACCP and local food safety regulations
