Job summary

Ettalong Diggers Club on the Central Coast is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a busy kitchen serving breakfast through dinner. You will support the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef, prepare items to a high standard, mentor apprentices, and help manage stock and workflow.

Availability across a seven‑day roster is required, with on‑site work in Ettalong Beach. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in a Chef de Partie role, NSW Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation, and is committed to

Qualifications

• Experience in a high-volume kitchen and ability to work across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
• Must have NSW Food Safety Supervisor Accreditation or willingness to obtain before starting.
• Full Australian working rights; sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef and fellow kitchen team members.
• Prepare food daily with emphasis on quality and profitability.
• Rotate stock to minimise waste and maintain cleanliness.
• Train and mentor apprentices; supervise junior team members.
• Ensure service is courteous, efficient and customer-focused at all times.
• Maintain equipment and kitchen hygiene standards; ensure high quality outputs.
