Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a Centre Manager for the Peter Krenz Leisure Centre in Bendigo. You will provide leadership for day-to-day operations and align services with the YMCA's vision and local council expectations, while inspiring a diverse team to deliver outstanding programs.

You will oversee Customer Care, Aquatic Safety, Health & Wellness, Operations and Learn to Swim, manage budgets, drive community engagement, and promote a safe, inclusive environment for staff and participants.

Qualifications

• Leadership and people management experience in sport/recreation leadership roles.
• Budget management and financial acumen are essential.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement across teams and community partners.
• Experience in risk management and delivering safe, high‑quality programs.
