Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a Duty Manager for the Bendigo Peter Krenz Leisure Centre and Bendigo East Swimming Pool. The role involves acting as a positive on-site leader, understanding the Centre’s programs, and managing centre functions during shifts.

A focus on safety and program delivery is essential, with shifts across seven days and early mornings, evenings, and weekends. The position is casual with an hourly rate of $42.34 + superannuation + Y benefits.

Qualifications

• Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
• Pool Lifeguard License.
• HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation.
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services.
• Act as an on-shift leader and oversee centre functions.
• Follow the Centre's Emergency Action Plan and ensure safety.

Education

Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate

Pool Lifeguard License

HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation

HLTAID011 Provide First Aid

Occupational Health & Safety Legislation (advantage)

Supervisory experience in a similar facility (desirable)
