Job summary

YMCA Victoria is seeking a Centre Manager for Peter Krenz Leisure Centre in Bendigo. You will provide leadership and strategic direction for daily operations, ensuring high-quality programs and services for the community.

You will oversee a wide range of units, work closely with staff and partners, and drive customer experience, safety, and financial stewardship in a community-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a senior or similar role.
• Tertiary qualification in Sports Management or related field is highly regarded.
• Willingness to obtain Pool Lifeguard qualification and CPR/First Aid certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and vision for the Centre's operations.
• Lead multiple units: Customer Care, Aquatic Safety, Health & Wellness, Operations, and Learn to Swim.
• Engage with the local community and City of Greater Bendigo to develop programs and partnerships.

Education

Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management, Business Management, or related field
