Job summary

Goodstart Early Learning Mannering Park is seeking a Centre Director to lead a passionate team, guiding two learning spaces and outdoor environments to deliver high quality early learning.

You’ll build strong relationships with children, families and the local community, oversee operations, and drive attendance and sustainable revenue while upholding our values as Australia’s largest early learning not-for-profit.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience in delivering integrated early childhood services in areas of disadvantage.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training, completed via Geccko platform.

• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement.

As a Centre Director at Goodstart, you’ll be at the heart of our leadership team, playing a pivotal role in supporting and developing the Teachers and Educators in your centre. About Goodstart Mannering Park:

Located on Vales Road in the heart of the Mannering Park community, Goodstart Mannering Park is a welcoming and inclusive centre caring for children aged 12 months to six years.

As Centre Director, you’ll lead a passionate and experienced team across two engaging indoor learning spaces and natural outdoor environments, supporting a strong culture of collaboration, connection and quality early learning.

Our inquiry-based programs are guided by the Early Years Learning Framework and shaped around each child’s strengths, interests and developmental needs. You’ll have the opportunity to inspire your team to deliver meaningful learning experiences while building strong, trusted relationships with children and families.

Community connection is at the heart of Goodstart Mannering Park, with established relationships with local schools including Mannering Park Public School and Wyee Public School. As Centre Director, you’ll play an important role in strengthening these partnerships and supporting children and families through their transition to school.

As a Goodstart Plus centre, you’ll also be supported with additional resources, specialist expertise and tailored support to strengthen outcomes for children, families and educators.
