Job summary

Goodstart Cowandilla is seeking an experienced Centre Director for a fixed-term role until July 2027. You will lead a 96- place early learning centre, manage a team, and drive a revenue-generating operation while delivering a bespoke learning program created with global pedagogical leaders.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards), plus demonstrated change leadership and commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards).
• Experience leading and managing change within education, health or community services.
• Experience delivering integrated early childhood services in disadvantaged areas.
• Proven commercial acumen with financial and operational performance management.
• Certificate of Completion for the National Child Safety Foundation Training via Geccko platform.

In This Role, You Will

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

About Goodstart Cowandilla

• We are a 96 place centre
• Built on Kaurna land, just off Sir Donald Bradman Drive, close to public transport, local shops and schools.
• Our service has two nurturing nurseries for babies – our littlest learners, two toddler rooms, and two preschool classrooms.
• Four bachelor’s degree-qualified early childhood teachers.

You’ll Need

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
