Goodstart Early Learning is seeking a Centre Director to lead a 68-place centre in Orange CBD, guiding educators and building strong relationships with families and the community. You’ll drive high-quality learning, oversee operations, and contribute to the Not-for-Profit mission.

Job description

Employment Type:Permanent Full Time (38 hours a week)

Pay: $58.38 to $71.79 per hour (+ $7.25 CD allowance for ECTs), based on experience and qualification + potential relocation incentive/$5k sign-on bonus!(after successful probation)

• Our service is a 68-place centre, conveniently located in the middle of Orange CBD.
• We offer dedicated off-the-floor programming time for our Educators.
• Our centre is in a beautiful heritage building, with large outdoor education spaces.
• The team consists of longstanding educators with diverse cultural backgrounds.
• We have recently had a building upgrade completed with brand-new flooring.

In this role, you will:

• Deliver our bespoke learning program developed in collaboration with global leaders in pedagogical practice
• Build and encourage a talented team of early learning professionals, sharing your knowledge and contributing to a culture of reflective practice and ongoing improvement
• Work with your team to plan for the future of your centre, building the attendance pipeline and maintaining a revenue-generating business

You’ll need:

• A Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or working towards)
• Experience with leading and managing change within education, health or community services
