Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company in Sydney is seeking a Category Operations Manager to drive planning rhythm, forecast accuracy and commercial performance of the Ice Cream category. You will partner with CSP, Brand and Customer teams to turn data into actionable insights that shape decisions and optimise promotions.

You will build category expertise, lead forecast reviews, and input NPD business cases with key metrics, while collaborating across teams in a fast-moving FMCG environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing, category, commercial or cross-functional roles in FMCG/retail.
• Strong data literacy and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Collaborative mindset with ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead forecast review meetings in sales & operations planning cycles.
• Optimize promotional analytics and assessinvestment impact.
• Shape NPD business cases with key category & customer metrics.
• Analyse market and shopper data to build decisions and strategies.
• Develop standardised monthly category data reporting to build knowledge.
• Support CSP leads with insights from standardised reporting to shape range reviews.
