Job summary

The Magnum Ice Cream Company is seeking a Category Operations Manager in Australia to drive planning rhythm, forecast accuracy and commercial performance for the Ice Cream category. You will partner with CSP, Brand and Customer teams to convert category and market data into clear insights that shape decisions and optimise promotional investment.

You will build category expertise across CSP, lead forecasting cycles, and shape NPD business cases with key metrics from shopper data.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing, category, commercial or cross-functional work in FMCG/retail.
• Data literacy and ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Understanding of category growth management and channels.

Responsibilities

• Lead the forecast review meetings within sales and OPS cycles to drive the planning rhythm and build reliable forecasts.
• Optimise promotional investment by reviewing analytics and insights.
• Work with project teams to input and shape NPD business cases with key metrics and inputs.
• Analyze market and shopper data to build insights that inform customer strategies.
• Develop standardised category market data reporting and analysis (Monthly cadence) to build knowledge across CSP.
• Support CSP leads with insights from standardised reporting to shape category expertise.
